Tubby Talk is BACK after a long hiatus!

We're now recording in YUNKJunk studios with a fancier setup. This time we're discussing our experiences with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom AND recent remake news.

It's DECIDEDLY Summertime, and we're serving some seasonally-appropriate treats that just might entice you out of the house this weekend!

First up is our brand new Strawberry Shortcake Sundae. It's built around fresh-baked shortbread by our friends at My Sweet Gluttony and served with the ice cream of your choice, topped with from-scratch strawberry compote.

Looking for something a little lighter? It's finally peach season, so our first batch of peach ice cream for 2023 is now on tap!

Stroll the Street is back on Thursdays in Manayunk, and that means we're serving up Ice Cream Sandwiches once again!

Our friends at My Sweet Gluttony are providing colorful m&m cookies to serve as the "bread" for our sandwiches during the month of June. We make each one to order, so you get to pick from any of our available ice cream flavors to complete your masterpiece.

We're now looking for an additional part-time team member to help us during weekend evening shifts. If you're interested, you can fill out an application and we'll get back to you soon!

A public service announcement: Belgian Waffle sundaes are back on the menu!

This waffle pictured has Wildberry and Chocolate Covered Strawberry ice cream on it, but they're made to order so you can put just about anything you want on there.

This evening marks the start of the Sing Us Home music festival on Venice Island, and that means this weekend is your last chance to get the churro-enhanced Sing Us Home Sundae Experience. If you need a snack break between acts, stop on by and we'll take care of you.

Today is also Cinco de Mayo, and as is Tubby Robot tradition we'll be serving Fried Ice Cream too!

For those keeping track at home, this means that you'll get to choose between two sundaes inspired by Mexican cuisine in a single day. What a time to be alive!

Music is coming back to Manayunk in a big way! The Sing Us Home festival is running on May 5th and 6th, and we're partnering with them to offer a limited-time sundae.

The Sing Us Home Sundae Experience is based on our new Dulce de Leche ice cream, and we lovingly pair it with a toasted churro, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. We'll be serving it up through the festival itself, so reserve a 2-day ticket to see some amazing local bands and pick up a sundae while you're at it.

Sorry everyone: we'll be closed today due to an equipment malfunction.

We'll be ready for action with a full lineup of ice cream on Wednesday -- try to hold out until then!

Today is Tubby Robot's 6th anniversary!

We're celebrating today by serving our customary ice cream hoagies, which are delicious homemade puff pastries filled with the ice cream of your choice. We're also selling more sundaes than can fit on our menu board, so if you're looking for something specific just ask!

Co-owners Chris and Steve will be in the shop to chat all night, and we're looking forward to seeing many of the folks who have helped make our little shop something special for the past six years. Here's to many more!
